The story began with a young Ito calf purchased in the California Convention Sale from the Sierra Vista herd. What caught our attention wasn't just the silky black calf—it was the influence of Ocean-View Sexation behind her pedigree. That calf became Sierra Vista Ito Elise EX-92-2E EX-MS GMD, a cow that produced over 254,000 pounds of lifetime milk and earned Gold Medal Dam honors.
Her daughter, Ocean-View Damion Elise EX-94-3E EEEEE GMD, elevated the family even further. With over 218,000 pounds of lifetime milk, Damion Elise became a Gold Medal Dam herself, creating the rare achievement of two consecutive Gold Medal Dams from the same maternal line.
What has followed is exactly what every breeder hopes for—each generation becoming better than the last.
Damion Elise produced outstanding daughters including Palermo Elle EX-94, Diamond Eve EX-94, Ellie Mae EX-92, and Diamondz R 4 Ever EX-90. Diamond Eve became a 5th Generation Excellent descendant and combined elite classification with over 1,850 pounds of fat in a single lactation.
Today, the family is represented by the exciting granddaughter Ocean-View Eye Candie EX-93, a cow that combines show-ring success with tremendous production. Eye Candie was nominated Junior All-American, won Junior Champion honors at the Wisconsin State Junior Fair, was Reserve Supreme Champion at the Wisconsin State Fair, and produced 47,540 pounds of milk and 2,224 pounds of fat in a single lactation.
